USB Connectivity

A USB Broadband dongle plugs into your computer and within a few minutes, you'll have full internet access. Once installed you just log on to the internet or your company server. Data download speeds of up to 7.2Mb per second are available, depending upon network availability.

Dongles can be supplied free of charge with an airtime contract, with line rentals starting at £7.50 plus VAT per month.

"Netbook" Mini PCs

These are the ultimate in portable computing offering all the functionality of a laptop running Windows XP with a 9" screen; solid state memory and long battery life. The embedded SIM card connects to mobile broadband, or you can connect to wireless networks for even faster browsing.

Prices start at £199 plus VAT with an airtime contract at £12.77 per month.

Tethering

Many mobile phones provide instant connection to your laptop, connecting you to the internet. This will be a suitable solution for more occasional users of the internet than the dongle or netbook.
