The iPhone 4S is a slight upgrade to the iPhone 4 with an improved processor and a new camera. The new handset shares the much-loved case design of its predecessor, but has a whole host of improvements.

Those antennae around the sides (which caused many users so much trouble) have been revamped and iOS will intelligently switch between two different sets on the fly to avoid dropping calls no matter how you hold it. Those antennae are connected to a dual-mode GSM and CDMA radio that will let Apple's handset roam the globe while enjoying either 14.4Mbps HSPA+ or EV-DO Rev. A.

The faster dual-core A5 chip. The 8MP camera with all-new optics also shoots 1080p HD video. And introducing Siri.

It's the most amazing iPhone yet.

The iPhone 4S is a speedier version of the iPhone 4. The main differences are the Siri voice recognition system, a faster A5 processor and a better (8MP) camera. If you have a 3GS, it's well worth upgrading. If you have a 4, I'd hold out for the next generation of iPhone.

The Siri voice recognition system isn't always very reliable, as demonstrated in this video.
